As Co-founder and Principal of LINKLAB, Sooyoun Park approaches design with a perceptive, intuitive eye, assessing possibilities through visual and environmental cues to craft spaces that feel authentic and resonant. She sees architecture as a form of artistic expression—a means of engaging with the unique phenomena of each place while shaping memorable human experiences through physical form. Guided by a keen awareness of how elements interact, her strong creative sensibilities inform work that is both thoughtful and deeply attuned to its surroundings.

Sooyoun brings over 25 years of experience spanning Asia and North America. She has held leadership roles at globally recognized firms including NBBJ (Shanghai), Skidmore Owings & Merrill (San Francisco), and WATG (Honolulu). Her work is driven by a multidisciplinary sensibility that balances artistry, pragmatism, and innovation—translating complex visions into spaces that are both inspired and enduring.

Committed to the intersection of design, education, and cultural stewardship, Sooyoun holds a BFA in Ceramics from Seoul National University and a Master of Interior Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design. She has served on the Executive Board and chaired the Education Leadership Committee for the Arizona State University Art Museum’s Creative Impact Board, while also contributing to academic leadership as a lecturer and doctoral advisor at the University of Hawaii School of Architecture. Sooyoun’s ongoing engagement in the arts and education reflects a deep commitment to fostering innovation and community impact—principles that inform her design leadership and enable her to deliver thoughtful, striking projects of all kinds with LINKLAB

William Paluch is Co-founder and Principal of LINKLAB. Driven by an insatiable interest in elevating the urban experience, he is a natural investigator—responsive, decisive, and proactive in identifying underrecognized opportunities through an experiential lens. His leadership is defined by collaboration and empowerment, grounded in a belief that thoughtful research and design can address the shortcomings of existing systems and create more equitable, resilient environments. He guides teams and communities toward solutions that are both insightful and transformative.

With over three decades of experience across the U.S. and Asia, William brings a global perspective to local challenges, leading projects that strengthen both the functionality and identity of the communities they serve. His multidisciplinary approach, grounded in urban redevelopment expertise, allows him to navigate complexity with clarity and deliver design solutions that are contextually attuned and strategically driven.

Throughout his career, William has held senior roles at globally recognized firms, including his role as Associate Partner at Skidmore Owings & Merrill and Vice President at HOK in China, where he led high-profile projects and drove strategic design programs across diverse urban environments. His portfolio includes large-scale urban initiatives such as the master planning of Treasure Island in San Francisco and Beijing Finance Street. William holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Southern California and has contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at the University of Hawaii and guest lecturer at Tongji University in Shanghai. At LINKLAB, William leads with intention, shaping projects that challenge convention and deliver lasting value through inventive thinking and purposeful engagement.

Destiny Flores is a Project Designer at LINK lab who brings a thoughtful and inquisitive approach to each stage of the design process. Raised in Phoenix, she draws inspiration from the desert’s distinct climate and landscape, which continue to inform how she perceives and shapes space. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Design from Arizona State University, where she majored in Architectural Studies and built a strong foundation in design thinking and spatial systems.

Destiny contributes to both conceptual development and detailed architectural drawings, approaching each project as an opportunity to listen deeply to people, patterns, and place. She is drawn to architecture for its capacity to combine creativity with constant learning and values conceptual thinking to explore possibilities beyond immediate constraints. Her work is guided by curiosity and intention, with a focus on creating environments that are robust and experientially meaningful.

Tanner is a Project Designer at LINKLAB and a fourth-year architecture student at Arizona State University. His interests in tectonics, diagramming, sculpture, sustainability, and people have contributed to his work being recognized with Arizona State University's Design Excellence Award and Studio Culture Award. Alongside his studies, Tanner also serves as a Research Lead with Arizona State's Luminosity Lab, investigating ecology and climate, construction logistics, and material systems. He considers himself a lifelong lover of craft and its history, and of studying the mechanics of creativity.


At LINKLAB, Tanner works across research, three-dimensional design, and material exploration, translating drawings and concepts into models, diagrams, presentations, and spatial studies. He researches materials and construction approaches while considering site, budget, and logistics, carrying ideas from early studies through more developed representations and fabrication. He is drawn to work that starts with curiosity, using making, testing, and material exploration to better understand how ideas become places.

Mia Buckner is a Project Designer at LINKLAB with an interdisciplinary architectural background spanning retail, aviation, municipal, housing, and landscape projects. Working across these sectors has influenced a design approach that moves easily between project types and scales. Originally from Illinois, Mia moved to Phoenix to pursue architecture, earning a Bachelor of Science in Design from Arizona State University and currently completing her Master of Architecture.

At LINKLAB, Mia contributes to architectural design, research, competition work, and the development of project concepts and drawings. She sees architecture as an opportunity to engage complex challenges, considering the broader context, the finer details, and everything in between as equally important in the design process. She is especially interested in the relationship between materials and place, using physical modeling and prototyping to explore how ideas are tested, refined, and ultimately built.

Maaz Siddiqui is a Project Architect whose work bridges design innovation, material exploration, and emerging technologies. He holds a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from the University of Pennsylvania and has contributed to over thirty projects spanning mixed-use, high-rise, and experimental work. With a strong foundation in parametric design and inventive construction methods, his approach is conceptually driven and technically precise.

Maaz is drawn to architecture’s capacity to address environmental and social challenges, particularly through sustainable strategies and adaptive urban design. His academic research examined how AI and computational methods can inform more resilient, responsive buildings. He continues to explore the intersection of design, real estate, and technology, advancing projects with lasting cultural and ecological value.

Kavya Ramesh is a Researcher at LINKLAB with experience in architectural practice, research, and community-centered programming. She has an intuitive sense for the creative process, recognizing how individual contributions build toward a larger, shared outcome. Kavya earned her undergraduate degree in Architecture from the University of Michigan, where she co-founded the Taubman Architecture Ball and Workshop Series and participated in socially engaged art initiatives through Noon at Night. Her professional work across New Jersey, New York, and Michigan reflects a growing interest in collaborative design and its role in shaping more inclusive environments.

At LINKLAB, Kavya contributes to both research and cultural initiatives, including SAME CITY the firm’s ongoing exploration of patterns of repetition in the form, experience, and use of Phoenix’s built environment. Her work supports the project’s outreach, writing, and visual material, helping to make complex urban ideas clear and accessible to diverse audiences. She also serves as Events Curator on LINKLAB’s Design Saves team, shaping experiences that connect design and community. Kavya will continue her studies at UC Berkeley’s Master of Architecture program, deepening her focus on community-driven design and interdisciplinary practice.

Shimyrre Britt is the Marketing Lead at LINKLAB, where she shapes the firm’s voice and guides its growth across brand and communication strategy. Drawing on her experience in hospitality, storytelling, and wellness, she applies a holistic understanding of clarity and messaging to convey LINKLAB’s vision. She integrates strategy, content, and collaboration to advance the studio’s multidisciplinary ethos.

Working closely with leadership, Shimyrre crafts narratives, supports business development, and refines content that reflects the firm’s evolving practice. Her efforts ensure LINKLAB’s work and values resonate with the clients, communities, and collaborators it engages audiences. She balances structure with intuition, drawing on a love for travel and the arts to keep ideas fresh and culturally connected. Her approach fuels an ongoing dialogue about design, purpose, and possibility, reflecting the substance and spirit of LINKLAB.

As Studio Administrator, Shealin Duncan coordinates the people, information, and logistics that keep LINKLAB moving. With a background in photography and more than 10 years of entrepreneurship, she understands the balance of creativity, communication, and follow-through necessary to bring ideas into practice. She enjoys bringing order to complexity and creating an environment that allows people to do their best work.

At LINKLAB, Shealin oversees the day-to-day needs of the studio, creating continuity between people, projects, and the practical details that hold everything together. Whether assisting leadership, coordinating across teams, or managing studio operations, she helps create the structure that allows the team to focus on designing places and experiences that matter. She believes her best work is creating the conditions that allow others to do theirs.
