Committed to the intersection of design, education, and cultural stewardship, Sooyoun holds a BFA in Ceramics from Seoul National University and a Master of Interior Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design. She has served on the Executive Board and chaired the Education Leadership Committee for the Arizona State University Art Museum’s Creative Impact Board, while also contributing to academic leadership as a lecturer and doctoral advisor at the University of Hawaii School of Architecture. Sooyoun’s ongoing engagement in the arts and education reflects a deep commitment to fostering innovation and community impact—principles that inform her design leadership and enable her to deliver thoughtful, striking projects of all kinds with LINK lab.

William Paluch is Co-founder and Principal of LINKLAB. Driven by an insatiable interest in elevating the urban experience, he is a natural investigator—responsive, decisive, and proactive in identifying underrecognized opportunities through an experiential lens. His leadership is defined by collaboration and empowerment, grounded in a belief that thoughtful research and design can address the shortcomings of existing systems and create more equitable, resilient environments. He guides teams and communities toward solutions that are both insightful and transformative.

With over three decades of experience across the U.S. and Asia, William brings a global perspective to local challenges, leading projects that strengthen both the functionality and identity of the communities they serve. His multidisciplinary approach, grounded in urban redevelopment expertise, allows him to navigate complexity with clarity and deliver design solutions that are contextually attuned and strategically driven.

Throughout his career, William has held senior roles at globally recognized firms, including his role as Associate Partner at Skidmore Owings & Merrill and Vice President at HOK in China, where he led high-profile projects and drove strategic design programs across diverse urban environments. His portfolio includes large-scale urban initiatives such as the master planning of Treasure Island in San Francisco and Beijing Finance Street. William holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Southern California and has contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at the University of Hawaii and guest lecturer at Tongji University in Shanghai. At LINKLAB, William leads with intention, shaping projects that challenge convention and deliver lasting value through inventive thinking and purposeful engagement.

Destiny Flores is a Project Designer at LINK lab who brings a thoughtful and inquisitive approach to each stage of the design process. Raised in Phoenix, she draws inspiration from the desert’s distinct climate and landscape, which continue to inform how she perceives and shapes space. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Design from Arizona State University, where she majored in Architectural Studies and built a strong foundation in design thinking and spatial systems.

Destiny contributes to both conceptual development and detailed architectural drawings, approaching each project as an opportunity to listen deeply to people, patterns, and place. She is drawn to architecture for its capacity to combine creativity with constant learning and values conceptual thinking to explore possibilities beyond immediate constraints. Her work is guided by curiosity and intention, with a focus on creating environments that are robust and experientially meaningful.

Yurembam Nimika Devi (Nimika) is a Project Designer at LINK lab with international experience across architecture, research, and design technology. She holds a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from the University of Pennsylvania, where she led studies in digital fabrication and 3D printing. Prior to that, she earned her Bachelor of Architecture from Amity University, graduating with the Academic Excellence Award.
Her expertise lies in design development and project documentation, with a focus on enhancing design-to-build workflows. She values the opportunity to test and refine ideas through rapid prototyping during the development phase and approaches coordination with adaptability and focus. Nimika’s interest in architecture began with a fascination for how spaces shape experience—a perspective she continues to carry, drawing on sensory awareness to design environments that are technically refined and responsive. This intuitive lens allows her to move beyond surface-level solutions and imagine possibilities that challenge assumptions and broaden the role of design. As her practice evolves, she remains focused on shaping spaces that are inventive, responsive, and deeply attuned to the lives they support.

Kavya Ramesh is a Researcher at LINKLAB with experience in architectural practice, research, and community-centered programming. She has an intuitive sense for the creative process, recognizing how individual contributions build toward a larger, shared outcome. Kavya earned her undergraduate degree in Architecture from the University of Michigan, where she co-founded the Taubman Architecture Ball and Workshop Series and participated in socially engaged art initiatives through Noon at Night. Her professional work across New Jersey, New York, and Michigan reflects a growing interest in collaborative design and its role in shaping more inclusive environments.

At LINKLAB, Kavya contributes to both research and cultural initiatives, including SAME CITY the firm’s ongoing exploration of patterns of repetition in the form, experience, and use of Phoenix’s built environment. Her work supports the project’s outreach, writing, and visual material, helping to make complex urban ideas clear and accessible to diverse audiences. She also serves as Events Curator on LINKLAB’s Design Saves team, shaping experiences that connect design and community. Kavya will continue her studies at UC Berkeley’s Master of Architecture program, deepening her focus on community-driven design and interdisciplinary practice.

Maaz Siddiqui is a Project Architect whose work bridges design innovation, material exploration, and emerging technologies. He holds a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from the University of Pennsylvania and has contributed to over thirty projects spanning mixed-use, high-rise, and experimental work. With a strong foundation in parametric design and inventive construction methods, his approach is conceptually driven and technically precise.
Maaz is drawn to architecture’s capacity to address environmental and social challenges, particularly through sustainable strategies and adaptive urban design. His academic research examined how AI and computational methods can inform more resilient, responsive buildings. He continues to explore the intersection of design, real estate, and technology, advancing projects with lasting cultural and ecological value.

Sheena Solano is the Director of Hospitality and Retail at LINKLAB. Her interest in architecture is shaped by a holistic understanding of how space influences experience—how design, atmosphere, and use come together to create environments that feel complete. With a background in architecture and construction management, she brings extensive experience in store planning, project delivery, and client partnerships for global luxury brands. Her portfolio includes flagship boutiques, full remodels, and pop-up spaces, each developed through close collaboration with design, construction, and brand teams.

Prior to joining LINKLAB, Sheena served in senior roles in store planning and construction with Louis Vuitton, Prada Group, Saint Laurent, and Christian Louboutin. Moving across companies and contexts has given her a broad perspective and the ability to work fluidly across teams, timelines, and expectations. That experience continues to inform her work at LINKLAB, where she supported the launch of the firm’s New York studio. She has overseen design development, bidding, construction, and stakeholder engagement across a variety of retail formats, maintaining momentum and alignment throughout. Her work reflects a fluency in fast-paced, design-driven environments and evolving brand standards. Outside the studio, she’s often found traveling, immersed in the local music scene, or indulging in the dynamics of Squid Games.

Sheena holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute with a minor in Interior Design and continues to expand her expertise through advanced coursework in Construction Finance and Project Management at Columbia University. She brings a clear, grounded perspective to how ideas take shape—thoughtful about the realities of building and attentive to how spaces are experienced and used over time.
